An Open Business Architecture enables IT to be more agile in its support of Assembled Web business objectives.  Open source software (OSS) provides open standards, open source code and a collaborative development approach that fits well with an Open Business Architecture.  Optaros is recognized by the OSS companies themselves as one of the largest and most experienced partners, for example:

Clients are looking not only for expertise in specifc OSS but also the ability to assemble multiple OSS into enterprise environments in a standards-based manner.  A good example of that is the work we are doing with Alfresco and Drupal leveraging the CMIS interface:

We also make contributions back to the open source communities such as the Facebook Connect Social Shopping extension for Magento and Knurl for Drupal as well as establish our own open source projects such as DoCASU and OForge.
