Targeted for an audience with a general interest in the CRM solution domain and /or solutions coming out of the open source realm, this paper defines CRM and how CRM is impacted by the open source movement. It furthermore outlines the new approaches for how to go about CRM systems implementation leveraging open source products and component. The paper moves on with providing an overview of the key CRM packages as well as solution components, and concludes with Optaros“ conclusions and proposed next steps.
