Vente-Privée continues on it’s expansion quest and has – via their logistics agency C.E.P.L – recently began operating its distribution center in Germersheim in Germany’s Pfalz region (German press release). The center is expected to handle the processing of 225 German language sales events that are planned for 2009.
In total for 2009, Vente-Privée has planned internationally more than 1,800 sales campaigns for 850 brands.
Vente-Privée has a 1,000 strong workforce and plans in 2009 to add 300 new employees across all areas of the business. Vente-Privée has recently opened a German subsidiary in Düsseldorf.
Vente-Privée wants to increase its German revenues from 21 million euros (2008) to 37 million euros. Internationally, the revenue should rise from 510 million euros (2008) to 620 million euros.
Vente-Privée achieved profits of 35 million euros in 2008.
