Optaros and SugarCRM extended the strategic partnership in December 2007. Optaros and SugarCRM have had a partnership in place since late 2005, and with the new Gold status partnership in place, we strengthen our ability to jointly deliver solutions based on SugarCRM for our clients. The expanded partnership will also offer SugarCRM and Optaros customers a single line of support through Optaros. At Optaros, we increasingly see open source CRM solutions successfully competing against expensive, proprietary CRM options due to the flexibility and fast time-to-value that open source applications offer. SugarCRM as such has a transparent architecture and allows for agile adaptation and integration into the enterprise environment. We have already implemented SugarCRM for a number of our clients. We have implemented traditional CRM solutions for Sales Force Automation, Marketing, Customer Service & Support functions for companies like CISEL in Switzerland. In addition, we are of course using SugarCRM internally for our sales and marketing processes. More exciting though are assembly solutions such as Wonderbox, a Paris-based company in the travel industry, for which we assembled a new multi-channel e-commerce solution based on osCommerce, and SugarCRM for customer data management, online product management, partner transaction management and email campaign management. There are other examples of such assemblies, and we will bring more information about these shortly. As stated by Lars Nordwall, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at SugarCRM in the press release: ”We are pleased to extend our relationship with Optaros, as its consultants know the CRM domain extremely well and have extensive open source software implementation skills.
