Welcome to our new website! This website is a living experiment to determine what a corporate website should be for a professional services firm in a Web 2.0 world.
It is a time of significant change for corporate websites. The old paradigm of corporate marketing brochureware is clearly broken, but the new forms of interaction (blogs, wikis, podcasts, vodcasts, RIA ,etc.) make it unclear what the corporate voice should be, what role Marketing should play, how much control should be maintained on the content, what expectations are for navigation and numerous other questions.
The principles behind our design are outlined in this blog What is a Web 2.0 Corporate Website? The website you are now on is the first implementation of these principles starting with a blank sheet of paper. Please take note of some key design elements and let us know your thoughts on how well it works:
- Deputized the Bloggers - We have opened up the website to numerous members of our staff to share their expertise. To make it easy for you to find their comments they have placed the posts in sections of the site that cover the topic and have placed tags on it so you can pick tags of interest.
- Topic Driven Navigation - Most sites that have added blogs use them in the traditional sense of 1 person=1 blog and stick them in the corner of the site. We view the blog post as a mechanism to enable easy creation of dynamic content. From a visitors' perspective we assume you want to quickly find content based on topics of interest .
- Videos of our client work - Even interactive agencies typically only show static images of design. Our methodology and deep technical skills lead to rich applications that are best highlighted through video.
