During the Enterprise 2.0 conference in Boston, I sat down for a quick chat with Bob Bickel, the co-founder and CEO of Ringside Networks.
We talked about Ringside Networks' Social Application Server and how they are using open source to drive innovation and application development beyond the core platform. (Don't forget Bob's previous middleware-style professional open source company, JBoss - he knows what he's talking about when it comes to open source business models).
We hope to have some interesting prototypes and proofs of concept leveraging the Ringside server out shortly. In the meanwhile, enjoy the interview:
