In December 2007, Optaros delivered a first – Swiss enterprise scale – implementation of SugarCRM for the State of Vaud.
The system, called REFEN, has been in production since begining of 2008. Today, a combined team of State and Optaros people is working on the upgrade of the initial release. REFEN evolutions clearly demonstrate the success and the interest of the SugarCRM component based assembly performed for the Work Service Department.
The State of Vaud is currently promoting and positioning its success story internally – for other departments – as well as externally – for other Government organizations (like Cities) and States of Switzerland.

In parallel to this Client campaign (mainly French focused), Optaros has led a marketing campaign targetting the German speaking region of Switzerland to share the success story – making sure the language would not be a barrier for the promotion of the SugarCRM component based assembly.
We are confident that our experience and our way to deliver (through assembly) highly differentiated Next Generation CRM solutions to our Customers is key for their business and this is a reality in the Government sector already.
