At Optaros, the customer is king! Our clients’ success is our success. This is built-in into the DNA of our consultants. Listening to and understanding our customers’ vision, objectives, needs and challenges is key. It allows us to then propose an approach, shape a solution, provide a roadmap, bring best practices into play, define an open, flexible, scalable and evolutionary architecture and implement a solution hitting agreed-upon scopes, milestones and budgets.
We like to work very closely with our customers. Collaboration means a lot to us. Collaboration is also important inside Optaros. Together as a team we are much stronger, faster and better than each individual taken separately. We embrace open source in every step we take (but without being religious about it!). It starts with our way of working: we adopt open source development philosophies and techniques into our methodology (OptAM) and collaboration platform (OForge). What does it mean more precisely? Well, we are completely open in our approach. Our clients are constantly aware of where we stand, what progress we make, how the deliverables look like, how the code is architected and built, etc. Thanks to OForge, they have instant access and participation into the ongoing project. Using OptAM, its user-centered design approach and tight collaboration with our customer, we bring agility into the project development process. It allows us to reach agreed-upon goals faster, with better quality and achieve higher end-user satisfaction while respecting budgets and timelines.
Embracing open source also means to not re-invent the wheel whenever possible. We select enterprise-ready open source components and assemble them together with our pre-assembled assembly groups to create compelling applications and experiences for our clients. We also integrate proprietary and client legacy applications where purposeful. We like to work closely with open source communities as well as open source commercial companies & partners. We contribute code back to the communities whenever possible and also open source some of our own creations.
Our customers’ feedback and testimonies show that we are on the right path and that we bring good value to them. The latest example is the delivery of me2me in Switzerland where we partnered with me2me to deliver a new voice-enabled web service. We brought a unique combination of web & mobile applications understanding, open source assembly approach as well as fast and high quality delivery to our customer. It allowed me2me to make available its powerful mobile application for large-scale trials with network operators.
