Many of you will be attending the Shop.Org Annual Summit in Las Vegas later this month for what should be a gathering of some of the most forward thinking leaders in ecommerce today. With this in mind, I thought I would dedicate this week’s ecommerce blogroll to articles and information about the event.  Have fun and make this a productive event!

Have You Made Your Appointment Yet? [Shop.Org Blog]
Shop.Org offers a valuable opportunity for all retail attendees to receive free consulting (20 minutes worth) from ecommerce analysts and other industry gurus in their Dr. is In one-on-one website critiques. Take a peek at the offerings, and possibly consider the ’20 to Social’ session where you will leave with a social ecommerce plan for the coming year.

Shop.Org Tweet Up [Twtvite.com]
Register now to attend what looks to be the Who’s Who of ecommerce, at the Tweet Up on Monday, September 21. In addition to my colleagues and fellow ecommerce bloggers Adam Michelson and Jochen Krisch, industry notables such as Jason Billingsley (formerly of ElasticPath) and Brian Walker from Forrester will be attending. This should be a fun evening filled with interesting conversation around the current and future state of ecommerce.

Free Plane Ticket to the Summit [Shop.Org Blog]
Finally, I thought I would share one of the more interesting ways to generate buzz around a conference – Shop.Org is offering a free airplane ticket ($1,000 value) to the person that does the most through social networks to help spread the word around the event. I am curious how they plan on measuring this, because they do not have any specifics around this, but it is a great incentive to Tweet away!

Enjoy the conference to all of you that will be attending!
