The Optaros Assembly Methodology (OptAM) puts our guiding principles into action. We leverage iterative and agile techniques to blend our technology, user experience and project management skills to quickly understand a client's business objectives and, most importantly, its target users. This synergy is even more powerful when OptAM is used across multiple projects within an application portfolio. Whenever possible we use open source components to assemble solutions that take advantage of multiple development communities which will continue to grow, affording clients maximum flexibility. Clients gain great efficiencies by using common components across projects and viewing web application strategy as a series of related assemblies.
Design
We believe detailed requirements are best defined through the rapid prototyping of the application. This enables business stakeholders to clearly see what they will get at the very beginning of the project, not at the end, when it is too late and too costly to change. Once agreement is reached on the user experience and architectural decisions, we commit to a fixed time and fixed price to assemble the application.
Assemble
We neither code from scratch, or install and customize proprietary enterprise software. Instead, we assemble loosely coupled, open source and open SaaS components using open standards. This lowers costs for our clients, reduces lock-in risks, increases business agility and provides earlier access to new functionality. It also makes possible necessary changes to business logic, architecture, and user experience throughout the process.
Improve
Internal and external users of web applications demand continual enhancements or their attention will go elsewhere if the experience remains static. We provide full support for all of our assembled solutions including A/B testing, campaign management, business performance monitoring, user experience, functionality enhancements, and cloud hosting.
